Looks like he needs to hire a housekeeper.

Don't mock that couch - it is down the back of the cushions that he found the stuff. There could still be more, yet to emerge.

And its a Vivitar, but he calls it a Vinitar! Might be worth the $9.99 if someone just wants the manuals.

That’s genuine Chinese dust.

Adds to the value and authenticity.

It must have been a barn find and the seller wants to preserve it as such. They do that with classic cars.

Nice rust on the screws.

Is it me or does that camera look suspiciously like a Minolta X-370? Even down to the conductive touch meter switch on the shutter button.

It's the same camera (Minolta X-300/X-370).

Also...
  1. Centon DF-300
  2. Soligor SR-300 MD
  3. Kalimar KX 5000
  4. Seagull DF-300
  5. Carena SX-300
  6. Carena DF-300
  7. Safari DF-300
  8. Texer EX-3
  9. Zenit DF-300
  10. Revue DF-300
  11. Samyang DF-400x

It's a Cosina design manufactured in China...I find it interesting because it's one of two Cosina cameras sold by Vivitar that had mounts other than K or M42. The other is the Vivitar VN5000 with Nikon F-mount (Nikon FM10).

I have photos of some dusty household items (not from my house) that would make even the laziest housekeeper cringe.

Snake skin shoes baby put 'em on your feet
We got rock 'n roll music

ME Super

How does one inflict a gouge in the mirror box?

I guess the dude forgot to pull the last bit of the film box flap out.

If you use a screwdriver instead if a nice bamboo tool the scrap off the old mirror bumper you could probably cause a nice gouge.

Auto focus and no viewfinder. It's an ME Super, but not as we know it.

The description looks like generic boiler plate jumble and doesn’t actually describe the camera offered.

And the seller is asking way too much.
