Originally posted by 35mmfilmfan I've noticed that on searching 'a well-known auction site' for Pentax items, several listings are shown which seem irrelevant, until I read the description and find the word 'Pentax' hidden somewhere. This annoyance also happens when looking for Pink Floyd original vinyl singles - if the word 'Floyd' appears, up pops an e-mail alert. Sigh.
I know how you feel. Some sellers will just stick every known camera brand at the end of the ad to get more views.
Others at least make (or try to make) a valid point.
"For a student, enthusiast or beginner to film photography, this is an excellent alternative to the likes of the Pentax K1000, the Nikon FM, Olympus OM, etc." Minolta XG-1 + 2 lenses | Eastern Pretoria | Gumtree South Africa
A Minolta XG-1 is a perfectly good alternative to a K1000, especially for a student that will not use it a lot. But still, I get to see an ad for a Minolta camera when I am only looking for Pentax lenses.

And then there is the utterly ridiculous. This factory building has a Volvo
Pentax 400 kilowatts generator. A Volvo Penta would have been nice, but a Volvo Pentax? Wow...
