Sunpak "TTL" Flash Module
TTL with a single hot shoe contact? I think not.
These modules plug into Sunpak flash units of the 1990s, and there were ones dedicated to camera brands that
did allow TTL flash control. But this STD-1D module was
specifically non-dedicated, so has the single contact (STD = "standard"). I don't know why they had to mention the 120J, a fairly rare bare bulb flash unit. Shows they don't know much about this thing - that will reduce their potential market a bit.
He does not seem to have the 120J on sale, but does have a truck-load of overpriced film cameras, mostly P&S advertised as "lomo" or "student".
The module is over-priced by a factor of about three, although oddly enough the non-dedicated STD-1D do seem to sell for more than the dedicated ones. Perhaps buyers don't trust film era dedication on digital cameras, and maybe it
is damaging on some brands. The PT-1D module is OK on Pentax DSLRs though.
