This case is basically one of Minolta's enlarger lens cases with a deep SR/MD mount base to accommodate the protruding rear-element of the bellows lens. Minolta's enlarger lenses are M39 mount.

I have a set of M42 extension tubes in the original Asahi case. I paid about the same. My Kenko AF extension tubes on the other hand...
