One of those wondrous lenses that will fit almost any camera ever made. An Osawa 95-300mm f/5, yummy.

Still brand new. Can be fit in:Canon M, Fuji X, Leica M, M4/3, Nikon 1, Pentax Q, Samsung NX, Sony E, Sony FE.
An old school zoom that is brand new? Yeah right.

It will fit all those cameras with the aid of an adapter, not included. That little fact is not mentioned in the ad.

The ad doesn't say what the actual mount is. It could be a K mount but I am not sure.

In any case, these old world zooms hold very little appeal to me. I may have a bad case of LBA but I do have standards.

If anyone is looking to roll the bones, there's another LX on shop goodwill. The good folks at Goodwill don't seem to recognize the "LX" on the top plate as the model, because like the last "LX" it's not listed at an "LX," just "vintage pentax camera"
Looks like a real nice kit. 50/1.4, 28/2.8 and 80-200 lenses. Also a AF400 flash, a nice hard case and other odds and ends.

To add to the drama, it's listed as "not function/power tested."

Currently $259 with 27 hours left on the auction. The jaded part of me wants to believe that if it worked, they'd likely list it as such to drive up the bids, but clearly they don't recognize what they have and it wouldn't surprise me if it's truly untested.

I'd never be willing to gamble with the type of money that it'll end up being sold for but it's nice to dream.

I’ve seen them list cameras that way several times. I bought a nice MZ-5 for pennies because they mis-labeled it. But I agree, that kind of money is a gamble if it doesn’t work.

I loved the K100d as it was my first Pentax, but I think this is a tad overpriced lol.

I can’t say, because I don’t remember, but I’m sure the original price of the K100D was not $3000...

I thought of the spirit Ariel in Shakespeare's The Tempest. And his (her?) song, which includes :-

Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade,

The word ‘minty’ makes me irrationally annoyed in descriptions of condition.

It’s usually over-emphasized , like ‘!!!MINTY++!!!!, and it doesn’t mean anything, unless the camera has a different smell...

I usually laugh when I see ads for the world-famous Pentax nEd camera and the professional ILX because they reflect a complete lack of understanding of what they have but without any attempt to rip people off...

Just like when the person marks a lens as a 50mm f1.2!!! when it's just a f2.

I almost feel sorry for some of those people.

Imagine you dug up something you knew nothing about and googled it. Because you typed 1.2 instead of 1:2, eBay tells you you’ve hit the jackpot... and now half of Pentax Forums’ online population is emailing you telling you that you messed up...

I didn't actually came across an eBay posting for an A50/2 but listed as f1.2. Was priced at only $60 so not too bad. A bit much for a f2 but not mistaken for A1.2 bad.

Well, they did get it only a year ago so perhaps they bought it in "ULTRA-RARE!!!! ULTRA-MINT!!!!" condition from another craiglist ad?
