This is the pits. These punks are trying to fleece South Africans. How about a long dead cameras and lenses from a long dead brand? A Samsung NX30 for a mere $1500 you say? Or a 50-150mm f/2.8 for $3600? It is in stock but delivery will take ten to twenty days? Huh?

The asking prices is exactly three times the going rate of the most optimistic ebay ads. Sites like this deserve to be hacked! Next time I have some lottery winnings to waste, I think I will order from them to see if they can actually deliver. Yes, nobody will be stupid enough to buy at that crazy price, but they do damage in other ways.

Local sellers use nonsense like this as benchmarks when advertising their used gear. Some even post links to this kind of drivel to justify their vastly inflated asking prices. They then add the old non-negotiable clause. All of this annoys me no end. The ware do not sell and I have to look at the ads for month on end. I have no idea on how to talk a guy selling an NX1 for over $1000 down to the range where I will start to negotiate.

Indeed! And the inability to mount a filter on the lens means the lens is not "fully functional" which is a prerequisite for eBay's "used" condition and what this seller is claiming.

Although perhaps the target customer is the kind of dirty rat that would place a very used FA 150 in said box and sell it as NOS.
