Here is an interesting one. The seller doesn't know what this crazy setup is for. If you look past the weird contration, there is an LX with FC1 finder and two winders up for grabs. Get an unmolested back and you are in the film photography business. All of this for less than USD250, what's not to like?

I initially thought that was an early digital LX but that doesn't look like a sensor in the modified back. My best guess is that it some sort of data back, that imprints text from the computer that is hooked by what looks like a serial port. How the camera is fired is not clear but it must be via some cable plugged into the winder. The mind boggles.

At least I can see why the FC1 finder is needed. It would be impossible to get your eye up to normal FA1 finder.

35mm SLR - Pentax S.L.R.**LX Camera** with Prism Finder FA-1 plus LX Motor Drive Winder(two) for sale in Balito / Tongaat (ID:408459217)

This is the kind of BS you need to sell a $50 camera for $325...

Very rare and desirable The Voigtländer VF 35F 35mm | Etsy

What exactly is a Leica CF-1/CF-2? The AF-C1 or C2-Zoom? Very different cameras...

The VF35F is the same camera as the Rollei 35RF. They were a cheaper follow up to the Rollei XF35/Voigtländer VF135. The earlier cameras had a 40mm F2.3 Sonnar lens, this one has a 4 element 38mm F2.8 lens...The earlier cameras had a 1/30s-1/650s shutter, this one has 3 shutter speeds, 1/60s, 1/125s, 1/250s...It is more rare, there were only 12,000 made for each brand (It was 1981 and fixed lens auto exposure rangefinders were at the end of their life). It does use AA batteries instead of 1.35v mercury batteries, so that's nice.

I currently waiting for one to be delivered from Canada...I paid less than $60...I think it's being delivered by dog sled...

They're "effective" pixels too. I guess you pay more for those than the ineffective ones.

I have one of those lenses, bought for $5 from a secondhand goods shop. Finally, I know what the XR stands for.

It is a very fast (moving) lens as well:

It amazes me the prices people place on those old things.

Must be sentimental value.

The very, very rare Pentax KR-5, complete with Riconar 1:2.2 55mm lens!

I can see how the confusion arises. Pentax is a Ricoh product these days...
