It has to be said (probably for the 1,000,000th time or more!), what are these people "on"?

Pentax Camera - $469 because....

Possible valuable antique some day.
A 1st addition, no less.

Cameras that can do sums are EXTRA valuable.

The prices for the A* 85mm f/1.4 has been crazy lately but this is completely mental.

Pentax-A* SMC 85mm f1.4 #5705504 .......... Minty | eBay

At least you get that special minty flavor for your USD2200!

Never mind that the "625 battery" is mercury...You can of course get a 625A but it's 1.5v instead of 1.35v...and the Minolta is voltage dependent. Plus $150 is about $100 too much...

I like the "burned out seller" auctions. The only description on something I just bought: "I am selling this item as used with or without any and or all of the defects it may or may not have. If you can think of a defect or defects it may or may not have said defect or defects. what you see in the pictures is what you will receive." Pictures are naturally bad and incomplete. Minimum bid is pretty low. That attitude chased away all the bidders except me. It's not a camera, it's a 127 year old woodworking tool, but it should shine up really well.
