You don't understand - it is the damage that is excellent, the lens is not.

Pentax 35mm Camera | eBay

Praktica camera with Pentacon lens - so, obviously Pentax, from their European factory, I presume.

To be fair, someone with the right skills and spares could possiblyrepair it - probably why 2 people have already bid on it???

At least they don't claim it is a K1000.

BTW, Camerapedia Praktica super TL 3 | Camerapedia | Fandom says that the Super Practika TL3 has a top speed of 1/500, yet that one on eBay, which is not apparently a "super" has 1/1000 on the dial. So the super one was slower than the standard one?

I think the problem is the word "excellent". So maybe they should have said "Could possibly be excellent after someone has repaired it"

The super TL 3 was a third generation L series, and it did indeed have a lower top speed than the 2nd generation LTL 3. They must have been sold as the TL 3 somewhere instead of LTL...

What I don't get is how the attached images could possibly have been taken with the lens in that state ?

The last two images prove beyond any possible doubt that it is indeed a 50mm F1.4

I couldn’t get the link from FB Marketplace to work, but there is a “Rare, incredibly hard to find Asahi Pentax Spotmatic from 1971 with many lenses $450” In the description “ Camera does not work which is to be expected with cameras of this vintage. A good CLA will have it like new!” The many lenses? Super Tak 55/1.8, Sears 28/2.8, Gemini Albinar 85-210/4.5, and a 2X multiplier.

$450 for a $20 camera, $50 Takumar and two $10 lenses.

Must be digital -- I don't see anywhere to load film. It's a stereo camera, I presume.

From the listing:

Item description
"Pentax zoom camera.. Condition is Used. Very good condition, hasn't been used a great deal."

Probably because he can’t figure out where to insert the memory card or load the film.

The ad states:

This is an original Pentax end lens cap

Look more like an original Sigma end cap for K mount lenses to me, but it is original.
