I couldn’t get the link from FB Marketplace to work, but there is a “Rare, incredibly hard to find Asahi Pentax Spotmatic from 1971 with many lenses $450” In the description “ Camera does not work which is to be expected with cameras of this vintage. A good CLA will have it like new!” The many lenses? Super Tak 55/1.8, Sears 28/2.8, Gemini Albinar 85-210/4.5, and a 2X multiplier.

$450 for a $20 camera, $50 Takumar and two $10 lenses.

It's pretty much bound to happen, yes.

An appropriately priced camera, amazing. But way too far away for a camera I already have...

Seller does not accept returns. That means it's a good deal instead of great.

Don’t need to find one.

Never heard of it, but just looked it up in Wikipedia:

10D was introduced before EF-S lenses became available and was incompatible with them. [It] was only able to mount EF lenses. All successive Canon Digital SLR cameras with APS-C sensors can mount EF-S lenses.
I guess he does not want the buyer wanting to return it after discovering that they can't fit modern APS-C Canon lenses to it. Or after they notice that ebay is awash with 10Ds for well under $100. It also seems that it was discontinued after only 18 months (presumably because of Canon's change of lens mounts for the umpteenth time), and that was 16 years ago. Sounds like one to avoid

Another plug for the ubiquitous K mount.
