Never heard of it, but just looked it up in Wikipedia:

I guess he does not want the buyer wanting to return it after discovering that they can't fit modern APS-C Canon lenses to it. Or after they notice that ebay is awash with 10Ds for well under $100. It also seems that it was discontinued after only 18 months (presumably because of Canon's change of lens mounts for the umpteenth time), and that was 16 years ago. Sounds like one to avoid
