Weren't the film APS cameras semi-digital? The picture was on the film, analog, but there was digital data (the time, date, camera settings etc) on a side track.

Kind of. Low end APS cameras used Optical IX, the high end cameras had Magnetic IX

QuoteQuote:
Magnetic IX was used in the more expensive cameras and allowed for more information exchange. Most cameras with magnetic IX automatically recorded the exposure date and time on the magnetic layer, with more advanced models allowing the user to specify a predetermined caption to be printed on the photo or record the exposure settings, as well as determine print aspect ratio. Magnetic IX caused some problems for photo processors, who found their magnetic reading heads had to be cleaned frequently, or that their equipment's ability to print this information was limited.

"Also some potential damage to Tamron- rings and center spot on lens."

Ya think??? Lol. Also, the auction ended and someone apparently gets to pay $125 for all that junk.

So much wrong in one ad. According to the ad, this is an old model new camera that's never been used. The best part is that it can be rented for USD100 per month? Huh?

Old model camera still new never been used - Cameras - Klerksdorp | Facebook Marketplace

Confused? It's actually a piece of junk plastic toy that's not even worth ten dollars. It does take 35mm film...

Nice cam - apart from the price, and the fact that the 110 format/neg size was/is never going to get you much in the way of "image quality" (bought a couple of decent ones decades ago - never impressed by the results)

I just had an eBay auction sale screwed by a comment posted as a question. “ Your manufacturers information is wrong” . No, Kiron IS a brand of Kino Precision, Mr. Nosey from Russia! Anyhow, now the auction winner isn’t paying for the lens.
I really, really HATE selling anything on eBay, especially when it sold for half what the going rate has been.
