Yes, I remember it. The description states that it cost the original owner 'a lot' - 'one born every minute' !

I was aware of Prinzflex as an old cheaper 3rd party lens brand, not in the same league as Vivitar, Sigma, Tamron etc, but I had not realised it was a Dixons brand. I thought they only used "Miranda" as their own photo brand (a name of a defunct camera maker that they had bought).

For any readers who did not know Dixons, it was a high street chain of what my boss once aptly described as "Men's toy shops". They also sold stuff like metal detectors, RC model cars, car radios etc. They were absorbed into Currys. Dixons only sold the more popular photo stuff - you could have bought a K1000 but not an LX.

BTW, the seller says

it’s a Pentax K /Ricoh program and has adjustable sizes
. I don't think there is anything "program" about it. He's right though that the size is "adjustable"

The "Prinzflex" label was used on a lot of the cheap stuff that they sold, including some of those old & "bombproof" Soviet "Zenit" (a.k.a "Zenith") SLRs - apparently, if you peeled off the "Prinzflex" label on the pentaprism then your would find the original "Zenit" marking underneath

Normally just overpriced, but broken lens cap " still attaches to and covers most of the lens."

With a broken lens cap like that I would worry that it was attached to the lens that was being sold when it became broken...but I guess I have become more jaded as I get older

You want something in it? That is cheap for a case alone. I was recently looking for lens cases and gave up after a time, people want far too much for them, even battered old ones. Seriously, I often saw lenses with cases going for less than similar empty cases being offered. I did not go that route only because I never found the sizes I wanted, and most sellers don't state the size anyway.

Like this junk for £12.80 plus £30.29 postage for me. At least he does give a size, but does he mean internal or external (useless info)?

Zeiss Otus adapted to Pentax. Just $99 with $30 shipping. Reassuring description, just a snippet here Otus 55 85 28 100 1.4 APO Distagon ZK21 Zeiss lens for Pentax camera on demand | eBay

Now we are going to provide the "re-mounted" ZF lenses to Pentax fans, definitely the top ZF lenses like Otus, APO are in priority.
