Ah, yes, the "lense". The go-to word for anyone who does not know the first thing about photography or English. I think I've mentioned it before in the "pet hates" thread. Don't mind me.
Not long ago I saw a bayonet-mount lens advertised something along the lines of "To fit Canon, Nikon, Pentax etc", which could be true if adaptors are involved but it doesn't say anything about the mount.

Here is a new one to me:

I just received a parts camera from eBay (No honey, I have no idea where that comes from )
I've seen bubble wrap, newspaper, bags and other items been used as padding material, but never about a mile of what seems to be audio or video tape

You should have seen my face when opening. "WHAT THE ......... I need to post this in the forum!"

Thanks,

I think it does. It looks like a robot's head from a 1950s B-movie. Wouldn't like to meet it in the dark, especially if it is armed with that flash unit. Those things have been known to fire broken glass at innocent people

This appears to occur when someone 'reads' the manual, which indicates that the basic lens is available in those fittings, but does not realise that they are separate mounts. I have enquired about lenses with that description, but most sellers appear to revel in their ignorance. Best response I ever received was along the lines of :

'If you don't want to buy it, don't waste my time.' !

When in doubt just type list everything engraved on the camera…

Couldn’t test because they didn’t have a battery…

It would be hard to take three pictures of a camera that told you less than those three!
