Non-Working ME Super Outfit - £150
.
Camera "heavily used" and corroded, a lens glued together, and in a battered case.

The 50mm F1.7 might be worth £25, while the one other good but 3rd party lens, the converter and the 283 can generally be had for around £10 each without having each other as baggage. That's assuming they work. The rest is junk.

... not been tested due to not having the film or batteries to test it with.... All of the items are in a heavily used condition, and the camera will need a little TLC, due to some corrosion on the body. The Hanimex lens, has been poorly glued back into place by its previous owner and will need a repair. The case is heavily marked and will need a clean.

Wow, I immediately thought of QDOS, the "Quick and Dirty Operating System" which Microsoft bought for a song ($50,000?) from SCP (Seattle Computer Products) and re-sold as MS-DOS/PCDOS and becoming the foundation of Microsoft's mega-fortune. SCP had hastily re-named it 86-DOS when they realised MS might be interested in it.

Microsoft cheated SCP by mis-representing what their interest was (settled out of court) but QDOS in turn was believed to have been a rip-off of CP/M (also settled out of court).

Thanks - did not know that. With each day that passes, I discover more and more that I don't know ! Must be my age - I wish I were young enough to know everything.

SCP created QDOS because Gary Kildall was dragging his feet releasing an X86 version of CP/M. The Kildall blew off a meeting with IBM allowing Gates to get the deal, even though he didn’t have an OS…

The Vivitar Qdos lenses contain anaglyphic elements. Good to know that.
