To be fair, I think a defect would mean a problem preventing full operation of the camera. If it's still 100% functional, I would call it defect free.

On the other hand, them calling it "excellent condition" when there are very noticeable blemishes would be false advertising. The least they could have done is taken a cleaning wipe to the body and get the dirt/grime off.

Light meter untested (battery door won't open)
Love that the battery door not opening is mentioned as an afterthought of an afterthought, after trivia like the lens hood has a case. Probably a leaking battery is inside and has been corroding everthing around for some years.

Notice he is selling it when he does not even have it - "In Stock" yet "Estimated arrival Oct 20-22". I guess he has just won bidding for it and is now selling it for twice (or more) the price he paid. I'm surprised he wants to draw attention to that situation.

He says let him know if we need more oictures. Ask for one of the inside of the battery compartment

The estimated arrival is when you could expect to receive it if you bought it.

Ugh, this makes me sad. This lot of lenses has been listed several times with no takers, originally at $3,600 plus shipping (showing as $128.70 for me). Now it's down to $600, still no takers. Wonder why?

Vintage LOT Of 24 Projector Lens B&L Cine scope Kollmorgen + Rare Find CINELUX | eBay

If they're in good condition, a few of these lenses are desirable, rare, and actually do sell for hundreds of dollars, or even more if you convert them to mount on a camera. But what's this in the photos, the glass looks all foggy?

Looking closer, there's water all over them. Some are dripping wet. it appears the seller left them out on the deck overnight (I hope just one night!) and let dew collect on them. And these are the pictures they choose to share! No telling what they look like inside.

Maybe you could wipe the dew off and the lenses will be fine, but I really doubt it. I would ask the seller, but I don't think it's worth the risk dealing with somebody so clueless and careless.

I bought a lens from Ebay and found it was full of condensation and the diaphragm blades were rusty - would not move. Seller had not mentioned any of this, and it was not apparent in the sale photos, yet you could not even see an image through the lens. I got my money back.

Looking again at the seller's details, it was apparent that he was a tropical fish fan. I guess his house was full of condensation. The first photo compares it with a good lens, the second is a shot using it. Don't buy from tropical fish keepers.
