I have 2 other systems. Olympus m4/3 , and Sigma Foveon SD-Q. The Olympus is Lite weight and I can carry just about every lens I own for it in a small bag. The SD-Q is a large camera, very nicely built. Incredible image quality but not as versatile as the other 2. The SD-Q is my 2nd. favorite camera. 4 of 10

These days my other "system" is a Wista VX 4x5 field camera and a few different large format lenses.

In the digital domain, Leica*. With Film, I really enjoy working with my Ebony 8X10 camera.

*which is also a bit of a practical consideration due to the fact that both Pentax and Leica cameras natively support the DNG RAW format.

Pentax K1, Pentax 15-30 and some older Pentax MF and AF lenses. I use the K1 primarily for nightscapes and astro shooting. My backup system is SONY a7III with Sigma Art 24-105 and Canon and Pentax adapters. I use the SONY for shooting when fast AF is required, 4K video and when I'm pretty confident the image will never be printed beyond 30" or so wide. Until recently I owned a Lumix GH4 and several Olympus lenses. Back in film days I shot medium format film with a Pentax 67 and later a Pentax 645N. I also shot large format film for a number years. I was never satisfied with 35mm film quality. That period in my life lasted about two years. I shot Canon digital until the release of the Pentax K5 and then made the switch back to Pentax, shooting the K5, K3, 645D and Z. Now retired I no longer have a need to create mural size images and I've been extremely pleased with my K1. I've never shot a modern era Nikon.

I was just about to launch a similar thread I had an Olympus stylus 1s that was a beauty. The sensor was small though so I only liked using it on street. It had to go to pay for my KP but I have missed it. Using a different brand was a good way to take a time out. I fancied a Sony a5000 or similar, however the ideal would be a Fuji x100. How good are the Sony's?

When I’m not out with a Pentax dslr, I’ve got my fujifilm X100F on hand for whatever might happen on by. Just love the ergonomics and jpgs of the Fuji.

It is one of the x100 family that I am lusting after but I may have to find something else to sell. There are some nice Olympus pen e & f models too. I would like something retro and rangefinderesque

I hear ya! I sold my Fuji x-t1 and X100T to upgrade to the X100F. No regrets.

Well, I bought a 2nd hand Fujifilm X-E1. I have to admit I don't like the X-trans sensor much though and keep thinking of getting rid of it.

I think in a few years time when the Olympus E-M5 III has gone down from it's ridiculous release price that might be a camera I would like to try. At least in Australia, the E-M5 III camera is excessively priced at around AUD$1,700 body only.

I used to have an Olympus O-MD E-M5 and 1 whole lens. Not much of a system but I really did like that little camera. Gave it up so I could buy a K-3II. When I can, I'm going to be buying another one and a 17mm or 25mm f1.8 lens and that's it.

I don't have another system (a Lumix LX100 is my 2nd camera) but if I had to choose I would go with Fujifilm.

I'd say my favorite brand after Pentax would be Fuji. Love my X100F.

I have been thinking about getting a used Fujifilm XE-2 myself, but cannot quite talk myself into it.
