Come back to visiting PF and suddenly I have a raging case of LBA.....

This place is like a plague! No lens purchases in 4 years while I was away from here and now that I've been back a month or so I've got a raging case of LBA! I bought a bundle a couple weeks ago to get one lens. I sold off the other components of the bundle and got a $700 lens for $135 and am actually happy OMG! This place is the point of origin for LBA. Does the CDC know about this place?

At least you don’t have Lens Selling Aversion.

Four years away, and all that pent-up energy. There should be a new acronym for it: how about LBB (Lens Buying Buildup)?

perhaps the OP should post his find in the " latest acquisition " thread to show everyone the purchase

Your latest acquisition - Page 20 - PentaxForums.com

[ along with the SMU for scaling purposes ]

Yeah, this LBA can be a real problem, especially when it leads to TAS (Tripod Acquisition Syndrome) .

Days since I purchased a tripod, Ballhead or QR - plate or accessory ................ Zero.

There’s some German biscuit that is accepted as the Alternate Measuring Unit. Boris Akunin drove the Initiative Petition on that.

Of Course.... Biggest problem with TAS is interest in long exposures, that's leading be down the path to FSC (Filter System Curious), which I'm sure will find me squarely in NDFF ( Neutral Density Filter Fixation) very soon.

My Mum warned LBA was a "gateway" Photography Addiction.

at least there is no reputed fear of acquiring blindness from submitting to LBA

I propose that those allergic to chocolate use Ritz crackers as an alternate method of measurement. Lol.
