why not just sending the roll of film to the Dr?
if you develop it, or have it developed you are, in effect, invading the Dr.'s privacy aren't you ?

Rewind the roll and mail it to the Dr. with an explanatory note and a recommendation where she can get it processed. You will be on Santa's "Good " list and it's the right thing to do.
Good points and suggestions.

When I receive a new used camera I never expect it to contain a half-finished roll of film.
In checking it out one of the first things I do is to open the back (film door). Problem solved!

The Green Fuji info peaking through the caseback sort of tipped me off.

You’ve just prompted me to check my myriad of old film cameras, just to see if I’ve left a film in one.

My 2 cents on the topic....

I would contact the Dr., explaining the circumstances as to how you acquired the item and offer to return the film, or destroy. Let the Dr. decide....

Crazy weekend. I'm trying to find a way to contact the physician without having to go through 8 layers of underlings. Not sure that is possible. May just mail the film with a note to her practice address.

I would probably just throw away the film.

Mailing the undeveloped roll could be correct or wrong. The photos might not belong to her if she sold/gifted the camera to someone before you obtained it.

I think that’s the best idea. That way, she can decide whether or not it may be hers.
