This year's deals look to be really, really good. Not much on the marketing site of things from the retailers, but that's where the Deal Finder comes in:

All discounts are relative to the recent average lowest price, so you can quickly see how juicy each deal is.

Love the banner though!

In the Uk srs are doing £300 off the 50/1.4.which is the first time the price has moved since launch (amongst others, of course)

I did too--at 697 at Adorama with the freebie bundle--turns out to be 50% off--giddy giddy up !!

It's funny how shops are making offers on black friday, they actually dropping price a little bit but showing it dropped from original startup price and it looks like big difference

The 697 deal was 897.00....that was a discount from the 1097 body only previously...The extra $200 is real savings as the site is showing that it's back to 897 now....In fact, B&H only offered the body for $697 without any extras....I have the original sling bag by Pentax and I often prefer it to my Domke bags (which I believe are the industry standard). The lens is a Pentax kit standard but new it costs between 150-200...that's real savings no matter what the MSRP is--excellent deal. I agree with Adam.
