I've heard some weird stories before, but that one takes the cake. I'm still laughing over that one.

The interesting thing is that Ross (not willing to give him the additional attention that comes with other than a first name) has probably seen an uptick in his traffic as a result and is feeling so very much the augmented self-esteem.

And this is the future of photography... Why did that Field guy have to die, he could sure help out these Instagramers!

I’ll be chuckling about this one for a couple of days.

I'm not sure, I've heard some pretty stupid things in my life as a computer tech.

Um, yes. Satire.

This is the part that made ROLF: "I taped down the dial so that won’t happen again."

As much as I want to believe it’s a satire piece, I deal with people every day, and something like this wouldn’t surprise me.

I agree. Like I said, I've heard some weird stores or had some weird questions when I used to fix peoples computers. I would believe this to be true in the photography world, too.

I want as much of the image to be out of focus, but the edges better be razor sharp.

There's a narrow range where I find stupidity to be funny.
Everything in that story, except the above quote which is actually not stupid, is way beyond that limit, so I cannot laugh with the rest of you, just roll my eyes all the way to the back of my head.

P.S.: Don't you (also) have to know your tools to be considered an artist? Isn't that what makes a difference between being just curious (maybe even talented) or being an artist?
