Sean Tucker, one of my favorite photographers on YouTube has just posted a great video about street photography and his experience with the GR II. Makes me want one even more. Just like him I find that I often leave my big camera (K-1) at home and my phone to be lacking in some areas like manual controls and image quality. So there is a gap to fill.

Great video. He says he’s not a camera reviewer, but he said everything a photographer needs to know about the GR II.

And what’s with the 58 dislikes? Some people...

Similar to how I ended up with the GRii and probably eventually a iii- I wanted something simple and pocketable. I still have the original Sony r100- it also takes good pictures and is small but man the menus and interface drives me crazy and now the back screen is so beat up its barely useable.
