this downtime/upgrade for Flickr has coincided with a truly horrific weather pattern here at home, so they've become inextricably linked in my tiny, reptilian brain...

it isn't only flickr that causes some of us to doubt companies:

[ and this doesn't compare to the dangerous weather some are enduring ]

on May 14 I ordered a couple of multi tools from home depo to be delivered to the local store because of a special deal on the web site

on May 17, I got a notice they had arrived at " home depo topeka " yeah, early

went to store on May 18, no items there finally they said that meant they had arrived in the local ware house ??

what local warehouse ??

and they should be at the store the next day

no notice of arrival at the store

on May 21, I got notice they had departed the warehouse at 12:35 AM

today I got notice they should be at the local store by tomorrow ????

I have them checking at the local store now, no luck and am awaiting call back as they check receiving

3 days and counting to come across town ??????

Drunk Panda photos? (How about a Drunk Panda deepfake video?)

Steve #drunkpanda

(...actually has the deepest sympathy, having been part of similar migrations with similar extended downtime...)

It's definitely faster than before...
I noticed that immediately. Of course, it might have something to do with my being geographically cozy to a couple of AWS data centers (171 miles by road to the nearest).

The site is mostly back up on my desktop...but the mobile app still doesn't work for me...

And when I say "mostly" I mean it's very slow when it does work. Still getting the bad panda a lot...
