I never received an email because the one I signed up with is no longer active.

Every time I try to submit a photo it says download failed or an error message pops up saying "Not a Pentax camera". What is up?

Works fine for me. What camera? What software are you using for post processing? Is it altering or stripping the Exif? Jpeg format? Less than 15 megabytes?

All I have are Pentax cameras; K-x, K-5, K-5 lls, K-3, K-01. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo or Adobe Lightroom. JPEGs around 1 -1.5 megabytes. All shots are at least 925 pixels high. I have almost 50 approved images on the gallery. All submitted before the change-over.

I am having the same issue with scans from negatives. I contacted them and their reply was basically "google about exif". I have modified EXIF but still not working. Tried uploading an already approved scan and it failed the same. Gave up about a week ago.

The one I uploaded yesterday is already approved. I have an old photo from a scan that was approved years ago, that one won't upload.

I had a photo I uploaded yesterday and it is now in my gallery.

I still find it interesting that when I go and "judge" images, they are usually in groups of images from one person (detectable by having several frog pictures - yeah the same frog) taken with either a *istD, *istDL, *istDS, K-10D or K-20D. A few scanned film images with model names but no film information. Strange that it appears that my "judging" list consists of "older" camera bodies.

So can I take it this is just a bigger version of this forum galleries but a bit more public? Somewhere else you can show off your work with the Pentax / Ricoh name big and proud?

Not that I am looking for the publicity, I'm just wondering if my images are good enough to be considered...

The only way to know is to enter your images. I don't think all images are accepted by any means, but there are definitely fewer rejected now than used to be.

Steady on old chap, exactly what vote are you referring to? As I appear to be accused of backsliding I would like to know why before I respond....
