DIY inexpensive sling strap

Take a simple lanyard made of paracord and a key ring, add a $4.00 (USD) strap from the local military surplus store (or most any adjustable strap with clips from an old purse or piece of luggage... and Bob's your uncle! I plan to make a wrist strap I can easily swap with the sling as needed.

Here's a tutorial for the lanyard I based mine on.

Here's my result:

Very inventive. If I didn't have a nephew and brother in Britain I wouldn't know what that phrase meant.

Yes, apparently my wifelet is enamored with anything with leopard print. If you have a spare leopard print strap, by all means, use it.

Oh my. Fun awaits I believe. Lens buying addiction. One of the wonderful things about the Pentax bodies is the amazing number of lenses available, especially vintage lenses, and due to the inbody stabilization and metering etc., you're in a great spot to go on a lens buying rampage with all the choices and still retain key functionality with your modern body. And in support of LBA, people often do things like save extra pennies making their own slings and starving the children.

Ahh, I do have the symptoms. I've just never been formally diagnosed. Thanks.

A good basic idea. But where is the quick sling action across the strap, normally achieved by a turnstile DIY Carabiner affixed to a Key Chain Ring.
Hey why bother when Evil Bay has a Pro Shoulder Sling Strap for US $ 5 yo 8.
