I actually have a couple spotmatics (got them to get a lens at the time!) that I have never shot, quite tempting to give one a try - although I have no idea if they will work at the moment (as in meter and light seals etc - as shutter seems to be fine).

Interesting. This is the second Spotmatic "review" site today. See also Mike Johnston on the Pentax Spotmatic (also waxing lyrical on the 50/1.4). I like the sample shots in the Bill Smith article. Tempted to put a roll of film in my MX again.
