Some of the shots are very evocative, or provocative. Interesting that a few of them are not "perfect" yet they are effective.

The shot of the spire of Notre Dame was fantastic timing. The videos of the events don't seem quite as moving.

Top quality images and not all technically good as others have said. Right place, right time plus the experience to know it and take advantage.

I suspect the shot has more impact because it captures a key, horrifying moment that you can contemplate. On the video, the spire's collapse is over within seconds.
