This is just a fun thread for discussion, and I think most have appreciated the mood of this thread. If you don't like your choices, do as Iheiramo did, and make up your own! We're not re-writing the photographers' DSM here, just playing around.

Me: "Bum with a Camera - Subject owns cameras and many lenses, probably a gear junkie, but also takes some pictures. Subject carries gear everywhere, even to the grocery stores. Subject's style therefore is to photograph whatever presents itself, and post-work is fairly routine bumps in saturation/clarity/sharpening for web display and small prints. Subject's output is appreciated by nearly no one because of little aesthetic or documentary value."

I wonder if above fits anyone else?

90% of the time I'm just a happy snapper with nice gear.

Mostly Explorer, lurching to Sportsman, but always a Hunter/Gatherer (but not much monochrome) when traveling. Astrophotography seems covered by Explorer, with prodigious amounts of post.

But I'd really like to be Jerry Uelsmann.

So how about Eclectic instead?

Why are the results hidden?

I consider myself a mix of the explorer, director and hunter-gatherer.

Fantastic question. I didn't set it up that way, and in fact had it set up to show who voted for which when I started the poll. Now I go to check and I see it says "The results are hidden for everyone but Administrators, Moderators and thread starter." I am pretty sure it didn't say that when i started the thread, but maybe it did. It's also possible the deep state has infiltrated Pentax Forums and is censoring, but most likely explanation is junk forum software that needs upgraded.

A great question and by the looks of it an interesting set of responses. Personally I would split my time between Hunter / Gatherer and Anarchist, but then I never was one for following the herd....

Anarchist
Actually, this poll (or the article that triggered it) inspired me to deliberately try the more "anarchist" look. But then I guess it's not really anarchist any more, now, is it...

Edit: Heck, this is a photography forum, isn't it? Here's one from today.
