Really interesting work by Alexeyev Titarenko, taking street photos beyond reality.

Since there were speculations about a new camera registration, perhpaps a monchrome GR (?), see the thread in the News section of the forum, this coincides with the guy from The Art of Photography YouTube channel talking about the merits of a monochrome camera in his latest video, taking the Leica M10 Monochrome as an example:

Very tempting, and the host makes a lot of convincing examples as to why a dedicated monochrome camera has its advantages. Very pricy, though, and so I'll keep dreaming and living vicariously through channel like this, and the experiences of PF members.

The same host makes another useful point in a second video

I see robgski's been posting a lot from this guy recently - I totally concur - and the latest one is about one my biggest photographic hero, Obie Oberholzer, who has got to be one of the most (internationally) underappreciated photographers out there

I'd like to second this channel.

Simon Booth is a tonic for the soul and although he makes photographs with a 645 medium format camera, his teachings are applicable to all of us, no matter what we use.

At the end of a stressful day he is just a pleasure to watch. Even though we in the UK live on a small island(s) we have some stunningly beautiful landscapes, big and small.

Thanks Kevin B123 for linking to Simon's channel. I'm up the road from you, in Berkshire, and I think a trip up North is on the cards next year when hopefully this dratted pox has abated.

A good exercise which demonstrates the value of limiting your shots. If you only have 5 exposures, you work to achieve the best possible image before opening the shutter.
