perhaps it might be wise to carry a small cloth or towel to sit between your camera and any surface

fold the cloth to create a multi level effect

sit it down and place camera onto it

pick it up after by a top corner and insert into plastic bags [ note the " s " ]

upon return to home, carefully empty the bags causing the cloth to fall into the running washing machine to clean the towel

Or if you are that worried about it, don’t set your camera down. Or better yet just stay home.
