One K1000, two nifty fifties. You can choose between f/1.7 and f/2 depending on ... whatever. They are nearly identical. Go figure.

On eBay I often see SLR bodies with multiple 50mm lenses for sale, often identical.
I attribute this not to awareness of "sample variation" but more likely ignorance.

Other times extra lenses may not even be in the correct mount!
