My attempt from last night. Finally got out far enough away from the light pollution. Amazing how much there is around here. Then we have some bad weather rolling in, but last night looked clear so I headed out short notice and climbed this big hill. In southern Texas, they call it a mountain, but it's just a big hill

It is pretty dim, but about an hour after sunset I could caught it with my naked eye. Later on as it got darker it was much more noticeable, though still dim compared to what the photos show. I was able to keep the ISO really low thanks to astrotracer.

Locally there are too many trees and tall buildings to the North of me. Even If could get clear of them then there are hills and mountains. Maybe when it gets a bit higher above the horizon I can see it from the hilltops. I missed Halley's Comet back in the 80s.
