Adaptor for a Sunpak 622 Flash Unit.

They don't seem to be embarrassed by the fact that the original new label is still
showing $11.95, but now, used, they want $74.69 (plus $160.37 shipping to me).

They don't seem very rare - there are several on Ebay right now.

This is an adaptor that plugs into the flash unit body with a socket to receive
510v from an external battery. I don't think there are any electronics inside.
For some reason Sunpak did not simply put the 510v socket directly on the
flash body like they did for their other units at the time.

I do rather like the black ruler - is that available separately ?

Pentax AF280T, £140

These generally sell for around £25. I got a mint one for £5, but that was a bit lucky.

But what is so funny about this one is that they pasted a copy of the history of Pentax from Wikipedia, including treating us to its name in Japanese characters. Yes we really needed to know all that. They don't say a lot about the flash unit itself though.

I would say the original bears no link to the current asked price. The asked price is way overboard but it COULD have been fair regardless of the original price.

I think we have featured this seller here in the past. He has hundreds of items at bonkers high prices, like two pairs of industrial gloves "very well used" for £200. He has a lot of positive feedback but it all seems to be for him as a buyer, not as a seller. I don't understand what he is up to : is he hoping people will buy his stuff without noticing the price, or is there something else going on?
