What did you get for Christmas?

Surprised I haven't seen this sort of thread yet, so I'll start one. What photography gear, or related items, did you get for Christmas?

My big gift was a new monitor to edit on. I also got a light wand for my light painting stuff.

The Road to Seeing - Dan Winters
At Work - Annie Liebowitz
Galen Rowell's Vision

plus a new tripod and a mess of intro lighting equipment.

I put part of the year end bonus into these, in addition to some generous gifts :-) VERY excited for trying out new things in the next months...

I placed an order for a 77mm Breakthrough X4 CP fliter for my da*300mm.

No clue when I will get it, but I am looking forward to it.

I've got a Super Takumar 150/f4 on the way.

Because of Covid we stayed home for Christmas this year, instead of going back to Ohio. Two of out three kids were going to make it here. But because contract tracing my wife and I are spending Christmas alone. It's kind of weird, as 2020 has been, but at least we've had "facetime" visits today. And if one of the kids gets their test results back, maybe tomorrow, they will get to come after all, just a day or two later.

Lowepro Dryzone camera bag. I'll find a use for it kayaking but it's also something extravagant I'd never get for myself. Santa must have thought I've been very good this year.

I bought myself an Invicta watch and a Sigma 300mm f2.8 as early holiday gifts. Otherwise I got a few gift cards which I'll be saving up, some shirts that I really don't need because they're "dress shirts" (of which I have plenty), a "man crate" with jerky, and some silly essential oil aerosolizer stuff that I have no use for whatsoever. Basically it.

Only photo related item was a woolen hat for those cold winter outings to compensate for my steady 'disappearing hairline' :-(

Damn! Just writing that will have kicked off an ear worm by the Crash Street Dummies ;-(

An illuminated magnifying light on an arm. Like a medical type. Its going to be super useful for camera repairs.
