1375g is in my wheelhouse, just a smidgen heavier than the A 400/5.6, one of my favorite teles. My 300/2.8 and 400/4 are ~2.5kg, and feel heavy these days... but they are very good lenses, and the Tamron Adaptall 400/4 is rather special.

Thats a fair weight, my weightiest is 150-600 Sigma Sport at 3.25kgs...its a beast.So doesn't get used lots.
