Great videos and a really cool thing (vintage manuals) to get into. I have no idea why it's more fun for me on mirrorless than on Pentax. As if having the vintage lens shown on EVF rather than OVF was somehow better for me... anyone else getting that or am I just being weird?

Yea, he has a channel on youtube that one can subscribe to.

The videos I've seen, he sometimes buys a used camera for practically nothing, removes the lens, and tries it out - like in that video I posted.

Regards,

Michael

p.s. I think his main youtube page is here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCprRX2I6pQr-0vLj3iieTSA

p.s.s. Check out his video on this Ricoh that has the strangest aperture blades I've ever seen!

Cool channel, I watch Mark Holtze (Mark Holtze - YouTube) who does vintage lens reviews, and does mods as well. Rather talks about the modifications that can be done

As i'm studying vintage movies, or current movies/shows that are made to look vintage, it has dawned on me that my editing style is just that. I try to make modern lenses look more vintage and dream like with flared whites, and a slight softness to them.
Sure, i could go for vintage lenses, but its not too common to come across 1.4s or even 1.2s in vintage lenses. Most will be at 1.8 at max, and normally hanging around the 4.5-2 stops or so.
