The Sad Story of Pulitizer Photographer Kevin Carter - Viewer discretion

I was reading up on some photographic history, and eventually landed on the topic/question: "What is the most famous photograph ever taken?"

New to me & coming in at #4 was Kevin Carter's controversial, Pulitzer Prize, photo – Starving Child and Vulture | 1993, found on the wikipedia page at: The vulture and the little girl - Wikipedia
Viewer discretion is warned should you choose to click on it, to read about the photo, or perhaps disturbing, to view it.

In popular culture, a couple songs are about him, and one film that I plan on seeing entitled "The Bang Bang Club" (about the lives of 4 photojournalists).

I remember seeing a lot of photo, video clip and news about the famine and civil war from that part of the world back in the days and definitely remember this photo.

Being born in 71, it was a place and time before my time. But there is plenty of famine and civil war to spread around for "us" other generations....

I'm pursuing the movie "The Bang Bang Club" to view. The movie is very much about photography, so I think others here would be interested in seeing it too. If anyone has seen it, tell us how you liked it...

If you were born in 1971 how is it before your time? It was 1993.

The Bang Bang Club bio documentary movie - based on a true story...

For educational purposes...Viewer discretion is advised & not intended for children due to the graphic nature of killings in the movie...

Youtube informs that due to copyright, the movie may not play in all regions...

You may need to rewind the movie to the beginning (or slide the indicator to the left/beginning of film)
