I was reading up on some photographic history, and eventually landed on the topic/question: "What is the most famous photograph ever taken?"
New to me & coming in at #4 was Kevin Carter's controversial, Pulitzer Prize, photo – Starving Child and Vulture | 1993, found on the wikipedia page at:
The vulture and the little girl - Wikipedia
Viewer discretion is warned should you choose to click on it, to read about the photo, or perhaps disturbing, to view it.
In popular culture, a couple songs are about him, and one film that I plan on seeing entitled "The Bang Bang Club" (about the lives of 4 photojournalists).
