The point is that it's cheap content that produces a lot of 'engagement'. Much like raffles, but the latter at least give someone a very nice piece of equipment!

I may vote for the DFA21, looks like a nice lens to me.

It’s a popularity poll. Maybe it would have been good if Pentax lenses get a bit more attention but on the other hand we are outnumbered by far... so what is the point anyway...?

I voted for what would be most useful to me, even if I don't intend to buy and of it (at least for now). At DPR, where fanboys abound, most will vote for their own brands no matter what, so the results will not be very useful.

Of course it is. We're not actually voting the best lenses, we're saying "hey, we're here, Pentax has a still significant user base!"

Yes , I did my part and I was not just voting for Pentax only.
I still have some soft feelings for others , except Canon , I was "forced" to use it for years at my work and I hated it!

I should clarify that I voted for the DFA21 not out of fan-boi-ism but because I actually think it is quite an interesting lens!

Having said that it would be Hilarious if even one of the Pentax FA limited lenses ended up in the top 5 , It would force DPR to acknowledge Pentax in a positive light instead of begrudgingly mention they exist at all.
