Thanks so much for looking.
Converting from negs to digital well hopefully your negative has stood the test of time. Some have and some not so much.
Then youll need a higher end scanner. Epson and/Canon scanners work well just a matter of choosing a quality machine that will accept ur negative. Lots of different size negs.
Then once youve got the film scanned into the computer youll need some knowledge about how to regulate light, contrast and color and old darkroom procedures so you can
navigate your imaging program which ever one you end up with. I like to use a real old one from Adobe, version four like over ten years old.
The Epson scanner I use has a function called, "digital ice" which has come in real handy in removing dust and scratches from my older negatives.
I recently started messing around with Corel. But if your unfamiliar with these systems, you might want to talk to the manufacturers about which one would work for you. Sometimes B and H folks are helpful. The folks over at Ricoh Pentax are also pretty knowledgable.
Or even throw out your question to the KP forum folks. They are real friendly and helpful Ive found.
