My Your Best Photo+ Submission was Selected!

I was very surprised to get an email from Ricoh this evening to inform me that one of my submissions to "Your Best Photo+" was selected. It now appears on the Ricoh page and was included in a new youtube video just released. I am very excited. I felt it was my best photo of last year, so it is a bit validating that of the submissions I made, it is the one that was selected.

Here is the photo, taken with the DFA*50mm on my K1. It was early morning with smoke from forest fires causing the orange sky, but also a heavy fog set in just amplifying the effect. I had spotted this old ruin on the way to our campsite, and was just waiting for the right moment to make a photo and as soon as I got up and saw the fog I knew it would be amazing.
