And it's proof that the best cameras need mirrors! ;-)

I don't know, it's not so good for up-close candids.

Can one put a mirror lens on a mirrorless camera, I wonder.

I had no idea what this was referring to, so Googled "space camera".
Now I know.

Yes, the best camera is the one you have with you.
The moon ask the Earth: "what's in your camera bag?"
Earth replies: "I've got that micro orbit-able* JWST model recently announced, that's my camera kit for when I shoot street in the galaxy"
Moon: "And how much did you pay for it?"
Earth: "I've ordered online from B&H, it was an open box JWST with a special summer discount price of $10 billion. At the price I couldn't refuse the offer"
Moon: "It's not too heavy model for street?"
Earth: "Are you kidding? I drag you around the whole year, dragging that JWST is like orbiting a mosquito in comparison to you, it's not gonna make me wobble".

* orbit-able is for planets what pocket-able is for humans

Venus: But there's no warranty, and you can't bring it in for service! When it breaks, it's done.

Yes, I know. Instruments can't be changed and it's a fixed focal length, what some people call a point & shoot camera.

As far as I can tell from the photos and diagrams it doesn't come with a flippy screen, that's probably why CSA (Canadian Space Agency) took a pass on this model and hope the next model includes one. The folks at NASA are a little more old school.

What you need is Zaphod's 'Panichromatic' glasses - at the first hint of danger, they go completely black.

I think you mixed up the "Super-chromatic" sunglasses with the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. An easy mistake to make (I had to look it up)
