Pentaxians Yearbook 2021 is out and available for free download

The Pentaxians Facebook group has released its fifth Pentaxians yearbook.

If you would like to have a look at it, just download the PDF file at The PENTAXIANS Yearbook 2021

There are 2 versions - an online version with all contributions and a print version limited to around 300 pages. The link to order the print version is just underneath the PDF button.

Thanks again to Stephen, Bela and the other volunteers for all the unbillable hours they put in!

And congrats to the contributors, many of them are fellow PF members, I know.

Design and production wise, these annuals are beautiful, I recommend people purchase it in hardback, it'll make a great coffee table book.

At the last Pentax event in Japan, the staff were showing the past editions of these yearbooks off, inviting people to come to the Pentax Clubhouse to look at them in person. They were so impressed by the quality of the photos, the print quality and design of the books.

Just looked - some gorgeous images using a variety of Pentax cameras and lenses proving once again that great images need skill and artistry more than they do the latest gear.

Not having pricing makes it hard to order blind. What’s typically the cost?

It felt like this year passed especially fast - but then I gave in to my intuition and had a look - and I was right! Already discussed here in May: The Pentaxians Yearbook 2021 is out - PentaxForums.com

Of course it's never wrong to remind folks of the extraordinarily great pictures that are always to be found in their Yearbooks.

Yep, my submission was accepted of an athlete running at speed close to me on the beach ... K-1, old Tamron 70-200 f2.8, nothing fancy.

As per the order page, the books are 25 Euros. DHL is the delivery means from Germany, that was another 20 Euros for one book to me in Australia.

Because they've made the prices so low, they haven't charged extra to cover all contingencies of where they might be sent, so that's why you put in exactly where you want it to go and they come back with the exact cost.

Yeah, Stephen runs his own ad agency, Bela is a graphic designer, etc ... these books are the real thing put together by professionals, they're gorgeous.

That’s very unclear on mobile. I never saw any pricing, in fact it says the cost will be sent to you after the order is made. Thanks for clearing that up.

Here’s what it says:

Please fill out the complete form. We will get back to you via eMail with the exact price including shipping and packaging plus payment informations AFTER the order period. The E-Mail will be sent after the order period, which ends May 29th 2021.
Clearly out of date info…

Still applies, I think.

When I click on 'Order Form', I see this on the page, which is a Google form:

Yeah, I don't think that page has been updated for months.

I think the team were exhausted, once it was released, they were cooked.

Ian, thanks so VERY much for posting this thread and link.

I've been in a bit of a shooter's funk since August with a bad time of the year dragging out longer than it should. The images I'm seeing are giving me so much inspiration!! I need a creative challenge and the Pentaxian's Yearbook has it in spades.

Yeah, it's good like that, isn't it?

The book's informally arranged in order of categories, so all the portraits are together, wildlife together, etc.
