In the late 80ʻs, I was the Unit Still Photographer on Return of the Killer Tomatoes....sequel to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. At the 1:25 mark in this 3:00 clip, my Pentax 645 and my right arm makes a cameo for nearly 10 seconds with George Clooney.

How often do you see medium format on a bad sequel to one of the worst films ever made? If I were Neil Armstrong, I wouldʻve convinced NASA to leave a Pentax on the moon and not a Hassy. Better dust resistance.

That's a pretty rare lens! Makes me think this device was not something they put together for this movie, but that they shot this scene somewhere were the set up already existed. At Pentax, or at some university or company laboratory. This lens was used for UV photography.
Good spotting. The ST 50mm pictured is an eight element.

I did a couple of keyword searches that came up empty, so apparently this thread has made it to 20 pages before the first mention of that awesome 1975 blaxploitation flick Friday Foster. I haven't seen it in years but IIRC Pam Grier totes a Spotmatic in a number of scenes.

Saw some of a film about the relationship between legendary Swinging Sixties photographer David Bailey and model Jean Shrimpton.

In it he gets derided by the editor of Vogue for using a 35mm Pentax.

I did a search, and didn't see this one listed:

"Kids in Love", Will Poulter is using a Pentax. Not sure of the model.

Saw it in a trailer for the movie.

Kids In Love (2016) Trailer

Good one @Riggomatic. Appears to be an ME Super with 50 f/2 and a dirty filter.
"Kids in Love", Will Poulter is using a Pentax. Not sure of the model.
