The Horse
Lens: Pentax 18-55 DAL Camera: K100D Super 

'The Horse', photographed in the English country side.

His field was next to a bus stop and he came over to say hello.

Nice! I nominate this photo for the awesome silvery contrast and tones! The details of the horses hairs is nice too!

I nominate this photo, great detail on the horse and well composed. Also feel that black and white was the best choice for this, I think it speaks to me more this way than it would in color.

I like it a lot - however I would love to see the ears which are so important and distinctive part of a horse's head - just a hit, but I happily nominate that shot for a nice balanced BW conversion and very good separation of your subject!

My nomination for an excellent photo. I can deal with that tight crop, feel like it gets us closer to the eye. As others have expressed, the choice of b&w was inspired. The pose is perfect. I would bring her a carrot next time. And a release form.
