thank you Norbert for the nomination, really glad you enjoyed the photo of Death Valley and it is a different place for sure, but don't visit during the summer where it can be the hottest place on Earth.

Wow the vastness is mind boggling and those colours! It's what I imagine Pluto et al. looking like! would work great as a Game of Thrones poster too great work!

the colors are from different shades of sandstone and if I remember correctly NASA did a film here because it reminded them of landing on Mars. thanks for the nomination, much appreciated. Bob
