This is a photo taken from Dante's View, 5500'. looking down at the salt flats and the Bad Water area of Death Valley, elevation minus 282 feet

thanks, yes you can even see the snow capped mountains of the Sierra's. A lot of difference in height and elevation at this point.

I don't know how many times over the years I have driven up there to get a clear shot of the valley, this is the best I've gotten. Thanks Trev for viewing.

I don't think I've seen your previous shots, but I agree :-) Nice gradation of colors.

thanks Kyle, I shared one of them but the others were just deleted due to either a too cloudy day or lots of sand being blown around in the valley. It's nice to have a RV park in Pahrump NV for trips to DV.
