People As the Mist Rolls in

On holiday in the US 2012, we stopped at a Wyoming information centre, I was capturing the mist rolling in when this shot happened. Completely unplanned, my brother just happened to be standing there and the birds just flew through at the moment I hit the shutter. A little bit of a Silent Hill feel came over us afterwards... We went back inside asap. Image is slightly PP with hue adjustment

Very nice feeling and mood. Great composision and the colors combined with the fog makes it very dreamy. Nominated!

What a lovely capture. Subdued and subtle. The subject is still while the birds impart motion making for a contrast. The colours and slight vignetting make this artistically nostalgic.
