Hey thanks Ricardo, I'm glad you found it interesting.
In retrospect I'm thinking its not going to make the first stage though as its more of a 'slow burn' rather than 'Wow' shot so I appreciate your comment

The shot is of an old Roman Road here in the UK that is completely dead straight and exactly 2 miles long. At night the mist forms in the peat ditches either side and spill out over the road - pretty ghostly at night when driving as often your car lights are 'under' the mist and make for an eerie experience.

Good luck yourself if you've entered the contest - A K3 looks a lovely piece of kit!

I love it! The texture, the color, the composition. I think you're right about being a slow burn but once you get sucked in you don't want to look away...Great photo-nominated!
