Nominated!

This is incredible! How much of this was set up deliberately?

I can't imagine how you could create a setup like this, but the composition seems too perfect to be spontaneous. Funny, we have a children's song in Danish that matches this photo perfectly, about a ladybug falling in love with a snail...

It was nothing but spontaneous as far as the snail is concerned. I was photographing the ladybird on the mushroom, and placed the snail next to it for a later shot...I wanted to give it a chance to come out of its shell. It came out quicker than expected, and as it was in its back it came out looking straight up. I have a full series of it but this was the only interesting shot, shortly after it climbed the mushroom and flattened it. I guess it was luck more than anything else

I nominate this photo because it communicates a lot, caught the moment is extraordinary. The snail that is uplifting and authorizes its tentacles because he is intrigued by the presence of ladybug on the fungus.
The game then color is remarkable, as well as the technical implementation.
