Warm Milk
Lens: Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm Camera: Pentax K-30 

Our milk cow, Rosemary, warming herself on a chilly spring evening by leftover embers from the prunings burned earlier that day.

15 second shutter, manual release of flash. Minor ghosting from cow movement removed using Photoshop (see original with this link: public link)
Though I've since invested in some prime lenses (and love them), this is a reminder that zooms can take some amazing shots!

Beautiful exposure keeping rich tones yet drawing out detail. Nominated because you know what you're doing and for catching such a moment that leaves me with a memory of the scene.
